I love this picture! I wish I could have this as a blanket or painted on my bedroom wall. Anyway this photo is two B-17’s flying across the sky at night, during World War II.

Here is a photograph of a father and daughter who were injured when the Germans bombed a residential area of Warsaw. They share a stretcher at an aid station.
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that the military channel on Comcast is playing Kelly’s Heros on and off for the next couple of days. It is a World War II film from 1970 with East Clintwood. Although I only saw a little bit so far it looks like an alright war film. So go check it out, and as always you can leave your opinion in my ask box! THANKS!
Three Dornier Do 26 flying boats were ordered by Deutsche Luft Hansa before the Second World War. They were christened Seeadler (“Sea eagle”), Seefalke (“Sea Falcon”), and Seemöwe (“Seagull”). All three entered Luftwaffe service in 1939 when war broke out.
All three were then lost in May 1940, during the Battles of Narvik, in the Norwegian Campaign.
Seefalke was shot down on May 8th by Blackburn Skuas of 803 Naval Air Squadron operating from the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal.
Seeadler and Seemöwe were attacked and sunk on May 28th by Hawker Hurricanes of No. 46 Squadron Royal Air Force, after both landed and moored in Rombaksbotn fjord. Seeadler lies there to this day.

This video relates to my blog because of the way it was done. Its based in the 1940, a war theme. This is really my favorite video of hers!
We’ve all seen the black and white version of this photograph by Alfred Eisenstaedt. It was taken on V-J Day in Times Square and was published in Life magazine in 1945. Reddit user mygrapefruit colorized the photo using Photoshop CS 5 on a Wacom tablet. “I found some vintage postcards of Times Square to figure out the color of the buildings and some signs,” she said. “The rest of the colors I guessed by using common sense.”
